Painting to me is my passion, my joy, my time to be close to God. When I am painting, I am totally in the present. Painting is a form of meditation, my way of expressing my feelings. I have a sense of satisfaction when people are moved by what I paint. At the core of my work is the interaction between mankind and the natural world.

For the last five years, I have been painting and taking workshops with well known watercolorists and artists including Josh Goldberg and Ellen Fountain. I have entered and had work accepted for many juried shows from the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild Annual Show to the Tubac Center for the Arts shows, as well as juried shows for The Drawing Studio.

Shows I have been in since 1999 include: Soft Opening, All Members Show, Artist Choice, Figure Show, Little Gems (The Watercolor Gallery); Chiaroscuro (Tubac Center of the Arts); Trees (Stillwell Twigg).

Fidelity Title of Tucson has several of my pieces in their private collection at their River Road office, and in January 2004, one of my pieces was featured in a news article for Outside II show at the Casa Grande Art Museum.

For a young artist (in painting years), I have accomplished much, and I am looking forward to accomplishing much more!
